Mamba and Nijimbere are passionate about giving back to their native Burundi, and the market at Baobab Fare stocks coffee beans imported from Burundi and roasted in Detroit, in addition to other items from artists and makers that reside in both locations.

Papa’s Peppers is a woman-owned business inspired by owner Jeanetta Hudnell’s father who pickled delicious veggies throughout her childhood. West Michigan Pasta and Provisions is an artisan and custom pasta producer that uses Old World and traditional techniques to produce fresh and dried pasta, as well as retail jars of tomato sauces.
